Amy Beckley
Certified IBJJF Brown belt
Masters in Education; Special Education and Early Childhood (University of Findlay)
Amy is our assistant coach for our kid’s classes. She comes to our academy in a role as a coach after multiple years of running FJJA on the business side. Amy is the wife of FJJA head coach Tyler Beckley and decided to start her own BJJ journey in May of 2018. Since receiving her blue belt in 2020, she has been an instrumental part of the growth in our kid’s classes and their development.
Amy takes her experience of working with children to the mats as she has been in the education field since 2007. Amy has over 18 years of experience teaching a variety of grade levels (Kindergarten through 12th grade). Years of experience working with children have shaped Amy into a perfect candidate to coach young people in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Amy also was a former NCAA athlete (University of Findlay Softball 2001-2005) so her years of teaching, competing, and now Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are helping shape the future of our academy!
